Father Frank Chacon
Father Frank Chacon began his studies for the priesthood in 1985. Prior to entering the seminary, he was an Air Force flight surgeon. Father Chacon trained at Holy Apostles Seminary in Cromwell, Connecticut, and is grateful for the outstanding spiritual and theological formation he received there.
Father Chacon was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest for the Diocese of Gallup, New Mexico on May 13, 1989, by Bishop Jerome Hastrich. While a newly ordained priest, Father recognized the critical need for good, basic Catholic apologetics. He and Jim Burnham, founder of San Juan Catholic Seminars, decided to collaborate and produce "user-friendly" Catholic apologetics materials.
